Giving Thanks

I sit here today at my Sister's house. Sam & Wendy are working and the kids are at school. The house is quiet, so I pull out my Bible and read. I meditate on Romans 11: 33-36, "Oh the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out. Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor? Who has ever given to God, that God should repay them? For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him the the glory forever! Amen."

I feel so very thankful to a great God who loves me beyond comprehension. I am thankful for all things He gives me- the good and the bad- because I can trust that He only wants the best for me and knows far more then I can ever begin to know exactly what I need. I am thankful for each day I have people that through their love show me glimpses of Jesus. I am thankful for the journey I am on and that Jesus is a friend that walks that journey with me. I am blessed beyond measure and sit here today in the stillness of a warm house and am grateful. May truly all glory be to God forever!
